Objective The NiSE Research Reading Group intends to provide an open
forum for discussion and exchange of ideas among faculty
and students interested in software requirements engineering
research or any other related topics of interests.
Participants will engage in a weekly research discussion over
the materials (e.g. slides, papers, books, tools etc.)
distributed prior to the meeting. One of the objectives of
this reading group is to help increase research oriented
interactions among graduate students as well as to promote a
synergy among their research efforts to explore avenues of
potential collaboration and mutual benefit. The reading group
is also open for invited guest speakers who show potential
interests or want to know more about the research activities
of the NiSE Research Group.
Presentation Guidelines Presentation
length should be limited to 30-40 mins, and
5-10 mins for Q&A sessions.
The topics included in the presentation may outline
1) Research Issues/Problems
2) Key Contributions
3) Approaches/Techniques
4) Evaluations
Topics of presentation can include, but not limited to
Research Papers, Tool Surveys, Research Surveys, Book Reviews,
On Going Research Projects, Dry runs before conference
presentations, etc.
